Set in a beautiful part of Mid Wales we are just 4 miles from Newtown and 7 miles from Welshpool. Nestled amidst acres of spectacular countryside, our charming Country House offers rooms that boast captivating views over the enchanting landscapes of Mid Wales and the picturesque Borders.

This historic former Vicarage has been sympathetically upgraded to 4* guest accommodation, retaining its historic features and old world charm such as the vintage Laura Ashley wallpaper and sumptuous leather sofas. Whilst offering a full Country House experience within Dolforwyn Hall, the rejuvenation work has included many modern features to make your stay with us more comfortable.

A wonderful 4 nights stay, welcoming hosts, comfortable rooms, broad choice of breakfast situated in beautiful countryside.

Owners are super. Plenty of parking space. Easy to find the hotel . The room was very comfortable , and attractive with interesting items added to enhance the décor. Lovely view across the valley from our window. The dining room and other sitting / function rooms all have their own slice of opulence and interest.

Dolforwyn Hall is a charming B&B in a beautiful locale. Ken, who runs the inn, is friendly and unwaveringly helpful. He was extremely responsive to all our requests, and made the stay a please. I recommend trying the afternoon tea.
